If you stay in Nairobi and Upcountry kindly note that your car depreciates at a rate of 5% Especially annually.

A Subaru forester bought at 3.2 million will be valued at Kshs. 3,040,000 after a year and at Kshs. 2,888,000 after two years.

If you live in salty conditions like mombasa your car has a depreciation of 7.5% per year.

The same car will be valued at Kshs. 2,960,000 in the first year and Kshs. 2,738,000 this is due to salty conditions that cause rust easily.

It is for this reason that I advice my followers to buy locally used cars in Nairobi and not Mombasa. Especially for units that have been in use in Mombasa for more than 5 years.

Nairobi is best when buying locally used cars. Mombasa is best for buying foreign used units
