1. Businesses can have dedicated accounts for their car businesses, allowing customers to search and find them, becoming a new avenue for getting customers
2. Can owners can find businesses that can fulfil their car needs - by what the business does, by location and other filters!

Notifications are here!

I've finally managed to add notifications to Autohaven!
You'll see them on the little bell icon close to your profile pic on the top right on large screens, and on mobile, there's a bell icon on the navigation bar at the bottom.

Sequel to this will be email notifications for engagements you receive. I intend to start with a daily summary of all notifications you received that day, and it'll be very easy to customise and opt in or out, as it should be!

Easier navigation between posts
Improvement
Prior to this, clicking on a rev/post would redirect you to a new page, and clicking on the back button would take you back to the top of the all revs page, so you'd lose your scroll position! It was annoying.
But now, if you click on a new rev to read comments for example, it does not redirect you to a new page, it instead opens up the comments on the same page right there and then, and you don't even have to go back to all the revs anymore, as all the revs will still be displayed on the same page, you can just keep scrolling!

Also, if you click on someone's profile to view all their posts or to follow them, and click on the back button, it shall take you back to the same scroll position you were at! It's not that snazzy at the moment in production but I will keep improving it!
Follow your favourite accounts

This was one of the most highly requested features, and it just shipped!
Now you can visit the profiles of accounts you like, read their present and past revs/posts, and the follow them!
Once we have enough content on the platform, I will use this to create one of the most rad algorithms in social media to find and serve you car content that you love. I have a cheat code here :)

Likes, Comments and Revs for Accounts

Happy Friday!
I just pushed an update that lets all posts, comments and likes belong to the default account that everyone gets on sign up.
Previously, if you had a car, you could post, like or comment as that car, but at the moment, all likes, comments and posts have been reverted back to accounts.
So all your previous likes, comments and posts are now with your account.
At the moment, you can only post as a single account - the one that you registered with. But it's in the roadmap to let you create separate accounts for each or all of the cars you shall add to your account. This will allow you to post, comment or like as your cars instead of your default account.
This change was necessary in order to make it easy to add other features on top of what we currently have, including getting followers which is coming soon!

Upload an image on your rev

You can now upload an image alongside your rev's text! 🥳
This was one of the most requested features since we launched, so I am happy to bring this first set of media features to Autohaven.
At the moment, though, you can only upload one image at a time, per post. We will add support for multiple images on a rev later, and then support for videos too, which is highly requested for.
Whilst you can post images of anything, please bear in mind that they have to be legal, void of any copyright issues, or in any category that is deemed illegal.
Posted content should also be legally viewable by all ages.

We're super excited about this first update! In addition to adding and rating your car, we now allow anyone to make a post about anything, and to receive comments and likes on the same!
This allows anyone to effectively start creating content on Autohaven, by sharing memorable car stories, engaging other car owners about a specific car issue they had, getting answers to a burning question about their car, or even getting on top of car news.
