The Lancer Ralliart was introduced in 2004 as a sportier, mid-range variant. It featured a turbocharged 2.0L engine producing around 240 hp and an all-wheel-drive system. This variant was designed to bridge the gap between the standard Lancer and the high-performance Evo models.
