The Karmann Ghia 1600 Coupé was introduced in 1968, featuring a 1600cc flat-four engine delivering approximately 50 to 65 horsepower depending on the configuration. This variant brought additional power and refinement to the classic design while maintaining its coupe silhouette. It was one of the last variants produced before the model was discontinued in 1974.
