The Outback 2.5i was introduced in 1995 as part of the first generation of the Outback. It features a 2.5L flat-four engine producing 165 hp, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. This SUV variant was aimed at providing a rugged, capable vehicle with standard all-wheel drive and raised ground clearance.
