The Saab 96 1.0L De Luxe was introduced in 1963 as a more upscale version of the 1.0L variant. It offered improved interior features, such as better upholstery and additional chrome accents. The engine remained the same 1.0L two-stroke engine producing 38 hp, but it aimed at providing a more comfortable driving experience.
