The Mitsubishi i-MiEV was launched in 2009 as an all-electric version of the Mitsubishi i. It features a 47 kW electric motor that provides equivalent to about 64 hp, using a lithium-ion battery for power. This variant was part of Mitsubishi's push into electric vehicles, offering a range of approximately 100 miles on a single charge, making it suitable for urban commuting.
