The Mitsubishi Eclipse GT was introduced in 1996 as a high-performance variant of the Eclipse. It features a more powerful 2.0L V6 engine producing approximately 190 hp, coupled with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. This coupe variant provided enhanced performance and a sportier suspension setup.
