The GT variant was introduced in 2003 as part of the second generation of the Tiburon. It featured a more aggressive design and a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine producing up to 138 horsepower. The GT focused on sporty performance with enhancements such as a sport-tuned suspension, larger wheels, and distinct exterior styling elements.
